Problems after latest updates

Hello, I am unable to upload missions after the new updates. The upload button is greyed out, map pilot is connected. Flying a DJI Phantom 3 advanced. No problems until the latest updates.

Do you have a valid flight path showing? The "Upload" button will remain grayed out until you have a valid flight plan (white lines in the grid pattern). There isn't a problem with the connection to the aircraft since the flight control buttons only become available after you have successfully connected. Be sure that your boundary markers are at least 25 meters apart and that your altitude is high enough that at least two passes are defined.

Still cant resolve this. Mission is planned, DJI Go app closed, Phantom 3 is connected but can't upload the mission. A potential clue is the the range is not correct either as it states 0m @ 0 degrees. Everything used to work with earlier version and similar mission. I just cant work this out...

i have some problem in uploading the file to view logs, file size is 383 Mb, when it reaches to 78% , it stops and the page is expired, what is the limit of file to be uploaded, is the any other way to change the file from .DAT to .TXT and .KML?

Saad: This is a bit off topic for this discussion. Please ask it as another question.

Yes I had a valid flight path. Boundary markers about 200m apart. Altitude 40m. DJI PH3 is detected and connected. However there is a comms issue as the app can't resolve the distance to UAV or direction. Upload remains greyed out.

Are you getting the red triangle that shows the aircraft's current location? It sounds like you are not.

It sound like the P3 is detected but not necessarily connected.

Another question: are you inside? We have had people complain of not being able to connect before but it was really an issue of them being inside and not being able to get a satellite lock which is what give the aircraft its position.

I'm having the exact same problem as the OPer. Boundary makers are greater than 25m, white lines in grid pattern, 60m AGL. FAP is at F, recognises connection with AC but Upload is greyed out. Go is closed. Tried unplugging USB, close down MP and opened again. Also tried shut down and restart of the iPad with AC in the air. Then I got it to upload, once, but it took off in the wrong direction when engaged. I could not get it to repeat following this same procedure. Ran 4 batteries trying.

This is an Inspire 1 latest MP 1.4.1. Only thing is I'm on firmware 1.5, would that be the root of the problem?

ps. Go home button worked

Generally we request that users stay up to date with the latest firmware since we don't do any testing at all on older versions. We have heard that it generally works pretty well on 1.5 though...

When you say "Upload is greyed out": Does that mean that the flight control pullout menu is available in the top right corner and that all 4 icons are greyed out? When does this become available? Is the red triangle showing to indicate the aircraft's current position?

If the red triangle isn't showing the upload button will not be enabled.

All the flight icons were grey. Now that you mention I can't remember if red arrow was there.

I'll check all that tomorrow, with screen shots if I got problems. I think I found at least part of the problem but no real explanation...I tried to create a new mission but the previous one kept coming up even after a app shutdown and a reboot. I could not draw a new one.

So I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Now I can create a new mission.

i gotta say the workflow in MP is the best of the contemporaries imo.

A previously laid out flight will continue to be shown if it was started even after rebooting or restarting the app. This was added to keep people from losing a few batteries of progress in the case of an app crash or dead iOS device battery. You can clear this partial mission using the trash can (delete) button which will generally always delete everything shown on the screen.

Please do update us on whether or not the red triangle is showing. If it isn't, that means there is an issue with the aircraft getting a GPS fix.
