LOCATION MAPS feature

Can stiched maps be joined using the LOCATION MAPS feature?
Or just GPS maps?
Are there instructions or a tutorial?

The Location Maps feature is mainly to put adjacent jobs or multiple visits to the same location in one place. It only works with georeferenced maps since we need to know where they are and Stitch Only jobs don't have this information.

There is little documentation on it but basically you just pick what basemaps you want to show and which of your own creations to add. You can adjust the ordering by moving the orange (your maps) or gray (basemaps) up or down in the list. Just be sure to hit update to see your results.

Thanks, Tudor. I thought it may only work with GPS maps. I'm working on a college campus map; total approx. 150 acres. Have two sections done so far and I thought I'd try to join them...

Once I'm done with the LOCATION MAPS the customer wants to make a large wall print. Can I save the final map for that purpose?

We are not actually combining the images at all in the Location Maps. Each of the created maps is added as a layer. They remain totally independent. Combining them can be done in various GIS software or photoshop if you just want to stick them together.
