JPEG and RAW Images

Can we have JPEG images and RAW images saved during the mission?
I am able to do this by flying waypoints on DJI app , but when switch to Map Pilot only JPEG are saved.
Can you show me step by step procedure how to import Flight Planer file into the RC of Phantom 3 , so it can fly autonomously . This way it can save both JPEG and RAW images . Thanks

The RAW images are much larger and take more time to read out. This drops the frame rate from 1 image every 2.5 to 1 image every 5 seconds. The loss in quality from RAW to JPG is not worth the loss in coverage ability and additional upload and storage required.

The flight planner file is not for use with the Phantom 3. It is mainly intended for use with the DJI Datalink or open source hardware.

Also, we are not aware of any photogrammetric software that will process RAW or DNG files.

I have another comment. Could be better the frame rate with a faster SD CARD? (Read Up to 95MB/s ; Write Up to 90MB/s)

I too would like the raw capability.  I guess I'd like to make the decision whether the slower flight time and shorter duration is worth the improved image quality.

Also, is there some reason I can't select 1/8000th sec exposure time from the Map Pilot?  I can do this from the DJI app.

1/8000 sec exposure time is not supported by all DJI cameras. Setting the exposure time to such a short period will almost certainly lead to significant loss if contrast. As with anything, keeping away from the extremes is usually a good thing. If you are looking at something that is so bright that it takes that as a manual setting to properly resolve it you should probably be looking into getting a filter to knock the exposure times back down into a region that the camera will be able to handle a bit better.
