File Name Restrictions

When I process images from flights Windows will automatically increment each "like" file name and append it with (01), (02), etc.
For instance
MidwayCrossing_10_29(01).jpg
MidwayCrossing_10_29(02).jpg
MidwayCrossing_10_29(03).jpg

When I try to upload these files the website won't accept them so I have to manually go back and change each file name one by one. If it's a dozen files no big deal but on larger projects it could be many more.

Is there a way around this caveat?

That would certainly be a pain to do a large group by hand. It sounds like you need to change the auto-increment settings for whatever software you are using for batch processing. You can usually specify how software will write the file names for batches and it looks like it is always giving them the same file name and windows is renaming them.

Thank you. I mis-spoke slightly. Our flight controller incrementally #'s the file but it resets after 999 back to 001. So our standard procedure is when we complete a flight ((MidwayCrossing for instance) we use that in the file name, add a date and then Windows will increment the last when it recognizes the same file name. So we are screwed when we go from 999 to 001 if we don't use a unique filename when we migrate them to the server.

I'm just hoping there is a way around this slight snag as I'm really enjoying this service and would like to use it with our projects in the future.
