DJI Mini 3 Pro, Sudden drop in battery % during flight after 1.6.4e build 092520231 update

I updated to 1.6.4e build 092520231 today and have had two instances of sudden loss of power during a missions.

The Battery % dropped from 41% to 7% one time and from 42% to 7% the other.

The missions were flown on two different batteries.

The first battery has 4 flights on it and the second one has 4 flights.

On review of the flight log I notice that the battery capacity changes from 4279 to 4023 at the same time as the sudden Battery % drop in both instances.

On the first failure the map pilot app bailed and I was not able to regain control of the drone before it did an emergency landing in the bush. On the second failure I was able to maintain control and find a safe landing place.

Any thoughts on what may be causing this?

Yikes. That sounds unfun. When was the last time you calibrated your batteries? Uncalibrated batteries will exhibit large drops in the reported charge like this.

Can you please share share the synced flight log link in Maps Made Easy or at least let us know what your username is so we can take a look?

This isn't something we can cause (because that would be silly). We just listen for the reported battery values and display them. We had another user report something similar on the previous version. DJI updated the firmware versions last week and it has caused a bunch of weirdness. In order to stay functional with the new softwares we had to update the DJI SDK version we use in our app up to version 5.6.0. This may be a firmware related issue from DJI... Be sure to email them about it.

Are you 100% sure you did not have the DJI app running at the same time as Map Pilot Pro?

What does "app bailing" mean? Are you saying it crashed and went away or lost connection or wasn't controlling the aircraft properly or what?
