Camera errors

First half of flight was fine. After change of battery the camera kept having errors. See the red dots compared to only blue dots in the 1st half of the flight. The drone seemed to be losing connection with the camera. The red triangle would pause and then shoot forward and miss a couple picture points.

The more important plot to look at is the Flight Detail. In the Flight Detail you can see the red and black traces. This shows areas where the RC signal dropped out, likely due to obstruction or poor antenna pointing. If there is no RC signal (or it is bad) the app will not be able to trigger images as the aircraft flies through the waypoints.

To keep this from happening make sure you have a clear view of the aircraft as it flies and that your antenna are oriented properly according to your aircraft's manual.

THank you for the response. I understand what you are saying however it is odd that the signal would drop or the line of sight would be an issue as the place I was standing is closer in proximity to the pictures that had the issue. Also, I have flown this same mission from the same location many times before and not had this issue. It seems to be a settings issue or something that changed since the drone was serviced. This is the first flight I have flown since getting the unit back from service at DJI. Could there be an issue with the settings?

The RC signal is really easy to make bad even with line of sight. It could also be that the iOS device was overheating or running out of resources. We see that a bit this time of year. Make sure it isn’t in the sun.
