App failure

I tried to fly several missions on offshore islands yesterday. I tried to launch 6 times with two different drones. 5 times the drone failed to start when I hit the start button, and the other time the drone launched, but started flying steadily away from the survey area. I had updated the app last week, so I have the latest version. Everything uploaded (mission, flight path etc.) as per normal, it just wouldn't launch. Is there any possible explanation as to why this would have happened?

Did you look at the Aircraft Errors panel to see what it said? Were you able to take off and fly successfully using the DJI app?

The only recent log file you have in the system is littered with pretty serious errors. There were a lot of vision system errors at takeoff and then all sorts of other pretty serious ones that indicate other onboard issues. I would say get all that sorted out, make sure things work OK in the DJI first, then close that and use Map Pilot Pro.

Thanks Zane - I did fly with DJI the evening before....however it was very briefly. Where were you able to access the error log? It would be good to be able to see that and work out if I need to get the aircraft serviced. It's raining here today, so am unable to fly to trouble shoot.

You can get to synced flight logs in your Maps Made Easy account in the Map Pilot section.
