You can manually adjust your gimbal angle as needed. In order to do a cliff well you will need to add plenty of the area at the top and at the bottom for context.
Hi Zane,
We need to map the side of cliff and I was wondering if there is a way to setup map pilot pro to fly with the gimbal rotated at a 45 degree angle to take stereo oblique images of the cliff side?

I was looking for a way to preplan the flight and set a 45 degree angle so that I can re-fly the exact same flight path multiple times a year for erosion detection. Is this possible?
We limit it at 35 degrees because even with the images get really close to the horizon which just produces junky images. This is a bit of a special case which takes some manual adjustment. We will look at expanding the range somehow. We just don't want lots of people doing it...
Just set it to 35 and then do a quick bump up. That should get you pretty close.
What is the workflow for a phantom 4 Pro V2? Do I set the angle in the Map Pilot Pro app? I am using the ios version of the software.
Hi Zane,
Just wanted to confirm you saw my latest question?

Where do I set the 35 degree angle gimbal option in the map pilot software? I cannot find that setting?
