(erroneous message) "terrain data not available for this location...
... terrain data is only available between 60 north latitude and 54 south latitude. oceans are not covered."
Terrain data was working last week, but then I got a SIM card for my ipad mini and enabled cellular service and not it stopped. I'm below 60 latitude, and the correct lat/lon show in the i-maps.

Also - is there a way to pre-load or cache the terrain map in order to fly at remote mines, wildlife habitat, and other off-grid sites?

Once data is cached it is not deleted and can be used offline.
We were just successfully able to load a terrain aware mission at that location so you may just need to check your connectivity and try again.

Thanks again Zane. We upgraded from ipad2 to ipad4 and things are smoother right off the bat.
It was not apparent to us that any data was cached, because each time the relevant mission was loaded, Map Pilot initiated loading of terrain 0 of 9, 1 of 9, 2 of 9... and it was not clear whether this was loading from online or locally. Thanks.

Steve: As noted in the email you likely received the data service for the terrain data is no longer available. You need to update to the Map Pilot Pro app which uses a different system.
