Advice on 3D Model with oblique imagery

Hi,

I did a full 3D model test to see how well it will process.  Here is the public view:  https://www.mapsmadeeasy.com/maps/public_3D/f339816c6fb54b1d81cf26883a067f33/

The oblique sides don't look like they included the orbit images I included.  I followed the directions and recommendations in your help forums.  However, something didn't quite work ideally.  Especially on the overhang area under the orange roof.  I did a double grid pattern with 90 / 75 overlap.  They I did an orbit with about a 30 deg angle to the oblique areas and overlapped those images by approximately 40%. The DJI workflow wasn't allowed because I had non-Nadir images.  Thus, I uploaded with the classic workflow.  What am I missing?  Advice appreciated.

Images that include the horizon should not be uploaded. This is covered in the Data Collection guidelines that are agreed to at the time of upload. From https://www.mapsmadeeasy.com/data_collection

Never Upload Images that Include the Horizon

Any image that includes the horizon should be kept out of your upload list.

Images that include the horizon will badly skew the results the system generates. Even if there may be a partial match with something our system sees on the ground the sky portion above the horizon could possibly be used in texturing the 3D model and throw off the results for large areas of the map.

Orbit images should never be included. That is covered in the Data Collection guidelines that are agreed to at the time of upload:

Never Fly Backwards or Sideways - Collect all of your data while traveling forward. Most aerial cameras have rolling shutters and mixing forward and backward flight ruins the chances of the job turning out well."

Forward flight only. Then fill in with manual flight and try to be as still as possible when taking it.

The images that are tilted up to high won't be included. That is why the DJI Workflow tells you not to upload them.

Double grid with that much overlap is way too much.

75% on a normal mission gives 16 looks at everything. 80% gives 25 looks. 90% gives 100. Full grid doubles that.

When using the full grid you should really only ever do 75-80%. Even 80% is too much. Having too many looks can confuse the system and cause more harm that good.
