Map Pilot AG can accept properly formatted JSON files as exported from popular agricultural softwares such as Farm Shots. The process for importing these files is the same as it is for KML or MME files.
You can use AirDrop or email to get the file to the iOS device. On the receiving end the user will get an email or notification (AirDrop) that shows a .json file as an attachment.
Tap on the icon for the attachment and it will bring up a text readout of the .json file.
Click on the up arrow/box icon in the upper right corner. This will bring up the standard iOS file handling dialog. Choose Map Pilot AG if it is showing. If Map Pilot AG is not showing as an option click on the 'More' icon with three dots to get more options.
Select 'Copy to Map Pilot'. If you have multiple different versions of Map Pilot on your device make sure you are selecting the right one.
Once you click on this all of the farms and fields defined in the file will show at the top of the the 'File Manager' screen under the 'Farms' heading. You can tap on the farm and see the names of the individual fields associated with it.
Please note: Currently using the Files app and iCloud backups does not work. We hope to fix this in the future.
