How to create Boundary Groups

Tudor -

A Boundary Group is an organizational grouping of survey areas in a loosely defined location. The name of a synced Boundary Group will show up in the 'Boundaries' section of the 'File Manager' screen in Map Pilot (versions 4.1 and up).

The Boundary and Boundary Group interface can be found in the 'Map Pilot' menu on the Maps Made Easy site.

  1. Use the Search tool to quickly find your location of interest.Screen_Shot_2019-06-26_at_9.31.52_AM.png
  2. Zoom to the general area where you will be adding Boundaries.Screen_Shot_2019-06-26_at_9.32.19_AM.png
  3. Press the 'Create New Boundary Group' button to continue.Screen_Shot_2019-06-26_at_9.31.12_AM.png

Once you have defined a Boundary Group, you can add new Boundaries to it and they will all be grouped together in the Map Pilot 'Boundaries' section of the 'File Management' screen.
