I noticed an issue with the white balance setting in the app. When set to auto mode I sometimes get white balance adjustments in mid-flight creating unwanted colour variations in the final map. I tried to manually set the white balance but the only two settings available (Sunny and Cloudy) both have too much yellow making images unusable. It would be nice to have more control in the app so that white balance can be manually adjusted for specific site conditions.
If you are sensitive to the coloration differences or the lighting is such that it is varying wildly while trying to find a good setting you should choose either the Sunny or Cloudy setting instead of leaving it on Auto. It is unlikely that we will be providing more While Balance control options outside of what DJI offers as defaults.

I had further issues with this today. See image thumbnails below. Auto mode creates sudden variations in white balance without any detectable change in lighting or environmental conditions. Manual modes (Sunny/Cloudy) only gives me yellow saturated images that are unusable. Have you guys encountered this before?
Yes. This is a common issue with the Auto setting on DJI cameras. It is pretty good at staying constant in sunny conditions but in searching for an optimal exposure when the lighting is overcast it can try to make adjustments. Just pick the Sunny or Cloudy setting based on the prevailing weather if you can. If the lighting is variable or there are patchy clouds Auto can still give the best results.
