Cropping images then creating a location map

Hi - firstly, a thank you - I have just completed mapping over 800 acres of fields with Maps Made Easy and my Phantom 3 pro - it was a long process but the app & mapping software have both worked perfectly - well done!

Now - my question - the fields that I have mapped overlap - when I come to create a location map, then the edges of the images overlap - leading to a layered appearance - is there any way to crop the images so they don`t overlap and then create a location map. 

I guess the solution would be to export the .jpg or .tiff - crop it - and then bring it back into MME to create a location map - is that possible?
