OFF QUESTION

Can MP be set to fly a mission w/o taking any photos? I know that sounds dumb but I have been asked to overfly an area looking for an elderly missing person (MP left home in a truck to go 4-wheeling) in the desert.

Nope. But what is the harm of taking pictures?

You have full control over the gimbal angle and orientation of the aircraft while traveling along the flight path so you can look around.
