projected Coordinates

Hi
I have been ask to do survey on forestry ground. I have done a test ground control points. The picture I made were not accurate as the system project coordinate needs to be osgb 1936 british national grid. I believe there will be a fair bit of work. Can you tell me if its possible to use british nation grid when placing the geo points

For the sake of universality and compatibility with existing software libraries, we do not plan on adding any additional projects to Map Pilot or Maps Made Easy.

ok i done a bit of research,The correct datum for a standard OS Grid Reference is OSGB36
Ordnance Survey maps are based on the OSGB36 TM datum (Ordnance Survey Great Britain 1936). This uses the Airy 1830 ellipsoid to provide a regional best fit for Great Britain. Modern GPS mapping, as used by Google, is usually based on the WGS84 datum, and uses a modified version of the GRS80 ellipsoid.

If your GPS receiver has been set to display OS Grid References using the OSGB36 datum, use the default setting of OSGB36. The Grid Reference entered will then be converted to co-ordinates based on the WGS84 datum used by Google maps.
