The maximum map we will process is 300,000 in dimension. This would allow for a 5 mile coverage area with a GSD of a little over 1 inch/pixel. But... Don't do that. The chances of it working are low.
We HIGHLY recommend doing at least 3 passes for linear work which would make that a LOT of work.
If you can supply at least 3 passes you should still break it up into smaller jobs to keep the whole thing from failing.
Just trying to give an honest answer.
You might want to check out something like TerrainDrop for mapping big linear areas like that. It can't fail and gives you access to all of the source data.
