The Air 2S is our new go-to for budget mapping. The only drawback on them is that they don't support waypoint flight but it will still be better than a P3.

Drone selection
Hey, I am looking for a model to buy.
In my price bracket there are Phantom 3 Advanced and Air 2s.
Air's are cheaper and have overall better parameters. Is that true for mapping using this app?

You might be able to find a P4P (with standard controller) for the cost of a MA2S. The P4P is the benchmark unit if not going with a much more expensive setup. If mapping is what you want to do, then get the P4P. If you just want a drone to play with and maybe try some mapping, then the MA2S should be fine.
