Problems resuming flight grid after 2nd battery change

Is anyone else having a problem resuming a flight grid after a second battery change?  We've tried multiple Phantom 3 Pros, multiple iPads, and multiple controllers to no avail.  The first battery swap always works great, but on subsequent battery changes, the copter will always turn and fly in the wrong direction after the second and subsequent battery swaps.

Version 2.1.1 still exhibits the same problem for us.
